Altar Servers assist the Priest and Deacon with the Sacraments and the preparation of the Altar. They carry the Cross, candles, incense or holy water, and assist as needed. Typically, girls and boys from 5th to 8th grade praicipate, but must be at least in 5th grade. Training is scheduled a few times through the year. If you are eager to find a way to serve the Lord, have a neat appearance, good self-control and reverence for church, you are just the kind of person for this ministry. Time committment is approx. 1 liturgy every 4 to 6 weeks. Contact Father George or Father Victor in the Parish office to register at 361-7339.
