Bring a love of singing and enthusiasm! Ability to read music not required. We welcome new singers as we begin each new signing season. It's a great way to meet new parishioners and at the same time share your time and talent with our Church. High school students may receive community service hours for their involvement. The choir rehearses every Tuesday from September through May at 7:30pm in the Church multi-purpose room and sings at the Sunday, 11:00am Mass. You can contact Mary Frey or Katie Jandernoa for more information.
If you are interested, this choir sings once a month, the 1st Saturday of the month. They rehearse in the Church multi-purpose room for one hour before Mass. You can contact Katie Jandernoa for more information.
Blessed Sacrament has two kids' choirs; Children's choir is open to all kindergarteners-4th graders, and the Honor choir is open to 5th-8th graders. These choirs meet in the Church multi-purpose room every Tuesday evening. Honor choir will practice from 6:10-6:40pm and Children's choir will practice from 6:50-7:20pm
Both choirs sing at a different 9:00am Sunday Mass each month, and combine occasionally. We practice weekly and will end the year with a pizza and bowling party. It's a great way for your kids to be involved in the Church and we welcome all young singers!
Please contact Mary Frey or Katie Jandernoa for more information about either of the kids' choirs.
During our weekend Masses, our ushers are there to collect the weekly tithes, assist people to find seats, attend to the flow of the Communion procession, pass out Church bulletins and other information as needed. If interested in joining this group, contact the Parish Office.
