Called by the healing ministry of Jesus, our goal is to offer spiritual support and God's healing comfort to all who mourn a loss through death. Contact Angie Schmidbauer through the Parish Office if you are interested in this ministry.
Join us on the third Tuesday of the month in the Church multi-purpose room for this ministry. We will be recycling old cards into new ones. This group will make cards to send to people in hospice care, nursing homes, hospitals, and for our own personal use. Please save us your old cards for use in this ministry. You can put them on the table in the narthex or drop them by the Parish Office.
We cover people with prayer. This group makes blankets for anyone that has a crisis, physical or emotional need. They are given a blanket that has been prayed over, with the hope that this will give them extra comfort in their time of need. This group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 12:00-3:00pm in the Church multi-purpose room. You can contact Marie LeMire for more information.
During the season of Advent parishioners are offered a chance to participate in the Advent Giving Tree. Each year we pick between three and four local charities that will benefit. The tree is placed in the Church narthex after Thanksgiving. Tags are put on the tree with a wish list item. Gifts are then returned, unwrapped with the tag attached, and distributed a week or two before Christmas. We are always looking for people to help with distribution of the gifts. Please contact the Parish Office for more information.
